The preparation process before tarmacing.

Frequently, a tarmac surfacing project involves laying the tarmac over top of a pre-existing substrate. Anytime that the job consists of simply installing a fresh tarmac surface over top of an existing tarmac, it is called an Overlay. Nonetheless, with certain projects, the old surface can be low in some areas, which means that it would need to be built up in order to raise the level of the surface in some areas to make it even.  Tarmac contractors Plymouth are required to make certain that the levels of all sub-layers are as near to the necessary level as they possibly can be.  This is why Regency Drives Limited always informs the customer if there are any inconsistencies prior to the laying of the new surface and takes steps to ensure that all parts of the old surface are within an acceptable level.
